Dongle Driver Software Installation

Install the Marx software drivers BEFORE inserting the dongles into the computer. If you insert the dongle before loading the drivers, you should remove and then reinsert after drivers are installed. Steps are:

1. Obtain the latest Marx drivers at:
   http://www.inliteresearch.com/dongle_drv
2. Run the CbSetup.exe program as Administrator.
   Follow instructions.
3. When shown this dialog select the Crypto-Box USB
   

Managing Dongle Licenses

To manage licences:

1. Plug dongle in USB port
2. Run Inlite Control Center. Select Licensing tab.
3. Select Dongle in Licences Hosted on combo box. Displayed dongle's serial number should match number on a tag, attached to a dongle
   
4. Licences on a dongle are in Registered products section.
   To Register, Transfer or Recover licences computer should be connected to the Internet. Offline procedure is not supported for dongle-based licenses.

NOTE: If you do not see dongle listed in Licences Hosted on it could mean: dongle drivers software may not be installed or operating correctly, the dongle is not securely attached to its port.

1. Try reinserting the dongle, or putting into another port
   Then restart Inlite Control Center.
2. If the problem persists, see the Troubleshooting section below.

Troubleshooting the Dongle

When the dongle presence is not detected by Inlite Control Center, please execute the following procedure:

1. Reboot the computer
2. Insert the dongle in the USB port
3. Obtain the Marx diagnostics at:
   http://www.inliteresearch.com/marx_analyzer
4. Extract the zip file contents to a convenient location
5. Run the MarxAnalyzer.exe program to execute the diagnostics
6. Select Start Diagnostics at the opening screen
7. Select the Basic diagnostics:
   
8. Select the SmarxOS Crypto-Box USB:
   
9. Select the Search local computer:
   
10. Click Start button
11. Click Save Report button and e-mail report file to file to sales@inliteresearch.com.
